The Europa Award

The Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival has many awards. Seriously, many award types. We recognize not only the humans in front of the lens, but the masterminds on the other side who bring those worlds into life.
The initial award went to Mr. Todd Cherniawsky for his incredible catalog of work. The bar was set incredibly high.
They can be writers, cinematographers, directors, producers, set designers, musicians, and visual effects people. These are the Terrans who surprise us. Beings who take their craft to a level beyond the norm.
The Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival is an experience. Not only for the attendee but the filmmaker too. We meticulously select films that represent the very essence of science fiction. As a result of our internationally recognized founder, we receive a considerable amount of films and screenplays from dozens of countries each year.
